Minecraft: Creeper

In our guide for a Creeper farm Inminecraft for version 1.17 we show you how to farm a lot of black powder. Automatically, the creaters are temporary while you rum around with an AFK spot and waits.

What is this for a farm? The materials for the Creeper Farm are easy to get. You build the farm and an afk spot and then just let your Minecraft be active while the farm automatically kills Creeper and collects the black powder for you in boxes.

We tested the Creeper farm in version 1.17 by Minecraft and the Java version on the PC.

Tutorial - How to build the Creeper farm in version 1.17

The beginning: Looking for an area far away from caves. Best at a height of more than 60. You can often copy the farm on top of each other to increase your yield of black powder and creatner. But considering that your AFK SPOT should be about 120 blocks above the farm. So you still need space.

First of all, you build for the beginning of your building blocks, then turns three blocks inside, builds two blocks next to each other and then goes back with three blocks in the other direction, so you are back on the original line, on your five blocks Placed side by side. Then your 13 blocks build inwards. That s your outer wall. Reflects the whole thing to achieve a closed shape. That should look like this:

Now pulls a second location of the blocks that you have just set.

Now goes into the middle of the 13-block wall and places a carpet there on Earth. The place will sit your cat. Make the same on the other side as well. Your cats have to love you so they will stay on the spot by command. You can make with food for you to obey you.

The other carpets then place you in the middle of the base and each with two blocks distance from each other. Just as you can see this on the following graphic. Considering the blocks with the cats are one exception and have only one block distance.

Now jump into the hole in the middle and placed both water sources on one side on the lowest blocks. With the water flow, the creepers are driven. So choose the direction so that you can build a storage room there.

Budges from the water source of eight blocks with the current. This way is two blocks high. At the eighth block, you grab a block deeper so that the water source continues and then goes on again about eight blocks.

Among the last two blocks water places your campfire and below the two hopper, which are connected to the double box.

Now you can dress the room with glass or other stones. Glass offers so that you can see the Creepers and see your trap in action. However, you are usually only in the trap and see Creeper, if you jump directly from your AFK house and run into the trap.

Now the farm is ready. You only have to stack your 120 scaffolding on top of each other and build a secure room from blocks in which your afk can stop. Fills with the scaffolding construction directly on the wall of the farm.

In the time you stand in the room, the creatners spawn in your trap, run from fear of the cats into the hole in the middle and are rinsed from the water to the campfire on which they burn.

The loot of black powder then falls into the funnels and will be directed from there because they are connected to the box into the box. You only have to go down to the loose in your room.

How effective is that? With our test, the Creeper farm produced 170 to 200 black powder in 15 minutes. For this we used a construction of 5 levels one above the other. For farms, this simple construction is well worth it. Who wants, can double the whole thing else else elsewhere.
