Basketball | NBA: President Biden honors Milwaukee Bucks
US President Joe Biden has been honored for the first time for five years another NBA master in the White House. Biden congratulated the Milwaukee Bucks around her Star Gianni Antetokounmpo at a ceremony in the garden of the government seat in Washington.
The Antetokounmpo (26) originated from Greece thanked riders and explained that it was an incredible honor to be received by the President. The success of the team is a proof of being able to achieve great work and hardship, he said.
Lastly, the Cleveland Cavaliers had been a guest after their title 2016 at the former President Barack Obama. Under his successor Donald Trump no NBA champion wanted to go to the White House. Biden was presented at the ceremony a jersey of the team with the inscription Biden 46. The 78-year-old is the 46th president of US history.
The Bucks had prevailed in the final series in the Final Series in six games against Phoenix Suns and waiting for the second NBA title of their story after 50 years.
